Simon one of the original Mavericks played a total of four full years for the Mavericks, being a very influential player he became Captain, winning many successful titles and being one of the top snipers on the ice. The former Bristol Bulldog, returned to the Nottingham Mavericks for the 2006 BUIHA Championships, straight away getting back into the swing of thing causing many threats upfront. He also was a major player in the Nottingham Varsity, scoring 4 goals and receiving Man of the Match in 2005 and scoring the equaliser in 2006 taking the game to penalties.
